Devila (デビラ, Debira) are the foot soldiers of the Demon Army.
Biography[]
A particularly memorable depiction is how they continuously emerge from the uniquely designed, all-black "Demon Car" (a Subaru 360 subjected to flocking, a special coating applied using static electricity). They are treated as expendable and, at times, even used as a source of energy for the Demon Monsters. Their combat capabilities are relatively low, as evidenced by an episode in which several of them were repelled by the young boy Atsushi Ohno. In episode 18, they are shown going on strike and are subsequently purged.
