This article is about an ally in Uchuu Tetsujin Kyodain.Dr. Hayama (葉山博士, Hayama Hakase): A world-class authority on robotics and creator of the Kyodain. He is targeted by the Dada Robot Army Corps and kidnapped by them for his knowledge. He is already approaching old age, but is a loving father to his sons. In the flashback scene of episode 7, he also shows a stubborn side, objecting to Joji and Ryuji buying an electric guitar.
