This article is about a set of heroes in Uchuu Tetsujin Kyodain.

The Kyodain (キョーダイン, Uchiyuu Tetsujin Kyōdain) are two Cyberoids created by Dr. Hayama, each possessing the personalities of his two sons, Jouji Hayama and Ryuji Hayama. They are entrusted with the task of guarding the third son, Kenji Hayama, and defending Earth.

Overview[]

Utilizing scientific knowledge from the Dada Star, Kyodain's armor is composed of Neutron Metal (中性子金属, Chūseishi Kinzoku), capable of withstanding temperatures of up to 30,000 degrees Celsius. Powered by the super-energy particles known as Dadanium (ダダニウム, Dadaniumu), the Cyberoids consume a mixture of Dadanium and gasoline in a paste-like form, extracted from tubes. This combination yields energy equivalent to two hundred million times that of gasoline alone. Additionally, when repairing significant injuries, they ingest metal fragments.

With the command Open Face (オープンフェイス, Ōpun Feisu), their head compartments open up to reveal screens, allowing them to speak with the faces of the individuals projected onto them (Jouji for Skyzel and Ryuji for Grounzel)[1]. Additionally, they can transform from humanoid to machine-like combat forms, becoming more aggressive and adopting rougher dialogue when transformed.

Starting from episode 15, thanks to Kyodia's energy, a pseudo-virtual personality (created by reproducing cell symbols recorded in the layered computer of the brain section using Cybergraphy (サイバグラフィー, Saibagurafī) to create a physical entity) and the Cyberoid's body (the main Kyodain's body) are separated. By taking a specific pose and shouting "Inder [name]" (インダー・○○, Indā ○○), the virtual personality materializes and enters the Cyberoid's body, transforming into Kyodain[1] (this function ceased after episode 44 when they created a sword with Kyodain to defeat Black Knight, reverting to the conventional transformation format as a last resort strategy).

Before merging, if one of them injures their legs and becomes unable to jump, they cannot merge. The virtual personality has a frequency of 10 gigahertz, which is also one of the conditions for merging.
