Character History[]

Molgon appeared in episode 16 of the series. Initially the 7th guinea pig to be used in gamma ray-related experiments by Dr. Isezaki, he was mutated offscreen by the doctor's assistant, Manpei Kano, as revenge for the unethicalness of the experiments. Molgon then killed Dr. Isezaki and the other researchers for his experiments, being controlled by Manpei. After killing the researchers, Manpei would use his device to shrink Molgon and turn him back into a normal guinea pig.

After learning that Shingo Yamada and Mephisto's younger brother would put a stop to his plans, Manpei disguised himself as a hiker and used Molgon to subdue the two. Oddly enough, when Manpei tried to shrink Molgon again, he shrank Mephisto with him, and so decided to keep Mephisto in Molgon's cage temporarily. After Mephisto broke free, Manpei turned Molgon giant to destroy Shingo and his friend Jōhōya while they were in a car. All of them were eventually saved by Dr. Tomiya, who revealed he made a device to pacify Molgon, but was then destroyed by Manpei after he enters his room to serve everyone drugged tea. After Shingo tells Mephisto he caught Manpei in the act, Molgon appears outside to attack the two, getting so out of control he accidentally kills Manpei while destroying Tomiya's laboratory. Shingo then rides Mephisto's Magic Rocket and defeats Molgon by flying into him, an the creature burns to death.

After Molgon's defeat, his body was buried and paid respects to by the heroes.
