No.1 Sentai Gozyuger Anniversary Discussion (ナンバーワン戦隊ゴジュウジャー アニバーサリー討論会 , Nanbā Wan Sentai Gojūjā Anibāsarī Uronkai) is a crossover special between No.1 Sentai Gozyuger
and other anniversary series from Kamen Rider and Super Sentai to promote the then-upcoming episode 1 of Gozyuger.[1]
Plot[]
The special begins with the five heroes sitting in a Toei-affiliated room, GozyuWolf in the middle, with GokaiRed and Zenkaizer on his right, and Kamen Riders Legend and Decade to this left.
As Zenkaizer kicks off the special, Decade announces that GozyuWolf must pass a screening with the four before they can truly call themselves "anniversary heroes." Gokai Red presents his first nitpick, saying that Gozyuger was only the 49th team of Super Sentai and therefore not a "anniversary" in terms of season numbers. Zenkaizer agrees with him, saying that both Gokaiger and Zenkaiger were the 35th and 45th Sentai team respectively. Legend believes that an anniversary should generally go by how many years has passed rather than the number of teams, backing up his statement by saying that Kamen Rider Revice aired on the 50th anniversary of the original Kamen Rider series. By this logic, Decade announces that Zenkaiger now falls on the 46th anniversary instead, placing a decorative "46" over the 45 on Zenkaizer's helmet, to the latter's dismay.
Gokai Red then states that he does not like the name Gozyuger, as it literally means "50-ger" (50ジャー). While Decade takes offense to this flimsy nitpick, Zenkaizer (though Secchan's guidance) points out that "Decade" as a name is not much better, as it means "10 years". Legend defends Decade and threatens to attack Gokai Red.
Later, Legend points out that GozyuWolf uses rings and points out that his friend Kamen Rider Gotchard also has a ring (with a overlay of the Kamen Rider Gotchard: Graduations poster crushing Zenkaizer comedically with a "GATCHANKO!"). Decade states that a more prominent ring user in their ranks would be Kamen Rider Wizard. GozyuWolf lists out five animals that him and his team are based on, though Gokai Red retorts saying that both the T-Rex and unicorn aren't "real" animals (one's extinct, one's fictional), believing that the Gozyugers were an animal-themed Sentai. Gokai Red's train of logic is that the "Gozyu" in "Gozyuger" can be read as this (五獣ジャー "Five Beasts"). Zenkaizer responds by saying that they weren't labeled as an animal Sentai, pointing out the "Number 1" Sentai.
Decade responds with confusion, asking what number the Gozyugers are supposed to be in that case: "Number 1" or "Number 50". Legend follows up by saying that the names Gokaiger and Zenkaiger were not as gorgeous as his name, though Gokai Red retorts that "Legend" is already a very basic name in the first place and that it was stolen from his own Great Legend War. When Gokai Red says that no one steals from pirates, Zenkaizer responds telling them that Zocks Goldtsuiker is literally him but gold. Legend continues, saying that the Great Legend War was a rip-off of Decade's Rider War, which made Decade feel somewhat bashful at that incident being brought up.
After Gokai Red is offended and a fight begins to ensue, GozyuWolf, having realized the bickering has stopped being about him, stops the fight and motions to leave the discussion, announcing that he already knew he would never fit in with anniversary heroes, given that he was an outcast. However, the others convince him that it's okay, as there are no better outcasts than pirates, while Legend admitting he didn't even come from an anniversary series, much to the surprise of Zenkaizer.
After Decade inducts GozyuWolf into the Anniversary Five, they pose in front of a staircase, and GozyuWolf is invited to go to Candy Cafe Colorful by Zenkaizer.
