Red Baron (レッドバロン, Reddo Baron) is a super robot with a crimson body that was build over four years by Dr. Kenichiro Kurenai, who foresaw the invasion of the Iron-faced Party, and entrusted to his younger brother Ken Kurenai.
Since the power is nuclear power, fuel is not required[note 1], but special oil called BR70 is required as lubricating oil. The body is made of a special metal Baronium (バロニウム, Baroniumu) that can withstand high heat of 100,000 degrees. After the Episode 24, it was replaced with the New Baronium (ニューバロニウム, Nyū Baroniumu) developed by Dr. Yazawa. The cockpit is located in the left eye, and even if an explosion occurs there, a shield Block Wall (ブロックウォール, Burokku Uōru) is put up to protect the pilot from fatal damage. Dr. Deviler was also trying to make it a force because of its performance, but in the end it became a hostile relationship.
It is equipped with a system that registers fingerprints[note 2] and voiceprints when it is activated, and can only be moved by Ken. When activated, Ken starts by ordering "Red Baron, dispatch!" with a communication bracelet, and it flies to Ken. The entrance is the door on the left side of the neck. Ken, who has superhuman motor nerves, jumps up to his left shoulder and enters the robot[1]. Also, in the first episode, there is a scene where he enters through the door on the outer side of his left foot and goes to his head by an elevator. Ken is in the cockpit and activates the Fight Lever (ファイトレバー, Faito Rebā) to start his actions.
