Inline with the Kamen Rider Fourze
and Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters summer films (Kamen Rider Fourze the Movie: Everyone, Space is Here! and Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters the Movie: Protect the Tokyo Enetower!), TV-Asahi announced that they would be airing a tokusatsu special in August, entitled “Super Hero Max 2012”, the annual Super Hero Max event of 2012.
The special aired discussions featuring the Super Hero Time tv series. A “Super Hero Max Navi” hosted by Gokaiger heroines, Yui Koike (Ahim de Famille/Gokai Pink) and Mao Ichimichi (Luka Millfy/Gokai Yellow), aired to introduce the Super Hero Max 2012 special presentation. Meanwhile, Yudai Chiba (Alata/Gosei Red) discussed highlights of the Tensou Sentai Goseigers EPIC on the Movie.
Apart from the discussions, TV-Asahi also re-aired episodes from Super Sentai series, and Kamen Rider director's cut films. The line up was as follows:
