Youth League

Youth League (少年同盟, Shōnen Dōmei) is a secret organization created by Captain Sala to defeat evil psychics. All members are boys and girls with psychic powers, wearing orange uniforms and helmets featuring egg-shaped decorations. By jumping high in the sky with a shout of "Spat!" (スパーッ！, Supātsu!), they instantly change from plain clothes to the uniform of the Youth League. Their base is built deep underground in Tokyo, with a telephone booth as the entrance. The leagues members patrol on bicycles called Electroboy (エレクトロボーイ号, Erekutorobōi-gō), and use a pigeon-shaped badges called Pit (ピット, Pitto) as communication devices and throwing weapons. After the episode 11, the costumes of the Youth League were no longer worn, and the organization itself became nameless.

Trivia

• The name and setting of the Youth League are based on Shotaro Ishinomori's manga with the same name and was created with the success of the Kamen Rider Kid Corps setting in Kamen Rider.
