Character History[]
Zhao Yun was the Hero Piece given to Gongsun Zan after suffering a loss to Liu Bei in the battle for the successor to Master Lu Zhi. Her rage was thought to be an excellent source of hero power. Zhao Yun proved to be of great use to his lord, being both a source of power and an excellent tactician. He pilots the Unicorn Racer.
Personality[]
Zhao Yun is proud and capable warrior. He prefers to fight with elegance and intelligence, tending to look down on weaker or foolish opponents. However, he has a sense of loyalty to his lord and a sense of honor like Guan Yu and Zhang Fei.

Zhao Yun combines with Gongsun Zan and later Liu Bei to become Legend Hero Guan Yu. Legend Hero Zhao Yun is based on the unicorn, and can move in short bursts of incredible speed. After transforming, Zhao Yun can be put into the Unicorn Spear to increase its power.

Like all Hero Pieces, Zhao Yun is sustained by the strength of his lord's dream and his willingness to fight for that dream. If his lord's will waivers or his dream is not strong enough, Zhao Yun loses his strength, resulting in not only their combined form losing power, but also rendering them unable to combine at all or even Zhao Yun starving to death. If his lord is defeated, Zhao Yun will also be destroyed unless he makes a new contract with a new lord.
